Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Announces Big Plans for the Year Ahead during ATM 2012

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (30 Apr 2012): The world’s first Ferrari-inspired theme park, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, announced exciting new plans for the year ahead, cementing the compelling family entertainment proposition it offers domestic and international tours operators and agents attending the Arabian Travel Market 2012.

The iconic indoor theme park located on Yas Island Abu Dhabi announced that a brand new experiential ride, a new show production and a host of family-friendly activities will offer guests even more reasons to visit the Park this year.

“We are only in our second year and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has already carved out a place for itself as a must-visit attraction in the UAE and one of its most unique, popular and sought-after family entertainment destinations,” said Raquel Lopez, Director of Marketing & Sales, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

 “The Park combines international brand recognition with a compelling offering that appeals to all age-groups. There’s nothing like Ferrari World Abu Dhabi anywhere in the world and the new additions to the Park go a step further in bringing the incredible Ferrari story to life in new and exciting ways,” she added.

‘Viaggio in Italia’ – Flying over Italy – a beautiful family experience that lifts guests into a giant inverted dome and takes them on a virtual flying journey over Italy is already in a soft opening phase. Once aboard the ride, guests experience a multi-sensory aerial adventure through Italy’s breathtaking countryside and cityscapes, pursuing a Ferrari along the course of the famous Mille Miglia road rally.

 Special sensory effects including mist, wind and scents creating the sensation of really soaking in the sights, sounds and aromas of Italy.

北京時間10月26日消息，據國外媒體報道，法拉利的LOGO是一匹騰躍的馬，現在早已經成為速度、豪華汽車和在賽道上取得成功的代名詞。現在的法拉利似乎正在遠離其天生的賽車血統，進入另一個讓人興奮和發抖的領域——主題樂園業。據報道，意大利的這家標志性汽車制造商在阿聯酋首都阿布扎比開設了一家巨大的主題樂園，名為“法拉利世界”，用以吸引法拉利的車迷以及他們的家人。

　　過山車：速度全球第一

　　法拉利世界的最大亮點當屬面積20萬平方米的屋頂，採用法拉利標志性的紅色，以及世界上最快的過山車，速度可達到每小時149英裏(約合每小時240公裏)。這家主題樂園沿亞斯碼頭賽道而建，後者將于11月舉辦阿布扎比大獎賽。乘坐這個全程長2000米的最快過山車時，喜歡尋找刺激的遊客將體驗到近2G的重力加速度，就如同在駕駛一輛高速行駛的法拉利F1賽車。過山車每次可搭載16名遊客，除了速度快得驚人外，還可在不到5秒鐘內將遊客送到52米的高度。整條過山車軌道有很多彎度達到70度的車道，絕對是一次極為精彩刺激的旅程。

　　法拉利世界將于10月27日開放。樂園內的一個雲霄塔可以將遊客送入62米的高度，讓他們有機會體驗賽車手可能經歷的加速度。此外，樂園內還有一家意大利餐館以及馬拉內羅之外世界上最大的法拉利賽車展示館，遊客可以盡情飽覽眾多經典款及當代法拉利賽車係列。此外，遊客還可以遊覽法拉利的賽前停車場，親自感受賽車和訓練過程中使用的工具。他們可以接受培訓，過一把後勤維修人員的癮兒，為F1賽車換輪胎。
