Faheem Rasheed Najm (born September 30, 1985), better known by his stage name T-Pain, is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, and actor, currently signed to Young Money Entertainment. His debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga,was released in 2005. In 2007, T-Pain released his second studio album Epiphany, which reached number one on the Billboard 200.Another studio album, titled Thr33 Ringz, wasreleased in 2008. In addition to his solo career, T-Pain has collaborated withnumerous artists including Kanye West and Jamie Foxx, which haveearned him two Grammy Awards.
T-Pain is the founder of therecord label Nappy Boy Entertainment, established in 2005.Throughout his career as a singer, T-Pain has extensively used the Auto-Tune pitchcorrection effect.
