Jay Chou studied piano as a child, and is equally skilled in instruments such as the guitar, cello and
jazz drum as well as the Chinese Dizi. His first album Jay was an instant hit

Jay has won countless awards throughout Asia for his singing and songwriting talents, including
recognition from the IFPI (The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) and CASH
(Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong Limited)

Jay has also earned awards for his roles in the films Initial D (2005) (a Golden Horse Award and
a Hong Kong Film Award, both for Best Newcomer Actor) and Curse of theGolden Flower (2006)
(Best Supporting Actor at The Hong Kong Film Awards)

Born Jay Chou on January 18th, 1979 in Taipei, Taiwan

到曼谷也能看到周杰倫？他受曼谷杜莎夫人蠟像館之邀，為他打造專屬的蠟像，前晚在曼谷Siam Discovery Center 6樓的分館正式揭幕，周董的蠟像穿著去年新專輯裡，拍攝「mine mine」MV的服裝，唯妙唯肖。

周董透過杰威爾表示，原想親自出席蠟像揭幕活動，但因正在拍電影，不便中途離台，但會找時間去曼谷看看蠟像。

曼谷杜莎夫人蠟像館看中周杰倫在亞洲的知名度、影響力，才特別為他製作蠟像，這也是繼鄧麗君之後，該蠟像館內第二位台灣歌手的蠟像，周董與有榮焉。

過去，杜莎夫人蠟像館為名人打造蠟像，都需要與該名人進行一連串的量身、測量與多次調整，才能做到與本人超過9成相仿，但此次周董的蠟像，卻是杰威爾提供大量的各種角度照片，讓專屬技師雕刻、塑形而成，雖然看來仍相似，不過神韻似乎差了一點。

蠟像館表示，製作費時約4至6個月，花了近800萬台幣，前晚在曼谷的揭幕儀式上，也有不少曼谷周董粉絲前來，他因電影「頭文字D」、「青蜂俠」在曼谷而有知名度。
