LeBron James 20,000 Points: Heat Star Becomes Youngest NBA Player To Reach Milestone

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — LeBron James has become the youngest player in NBA history to score 20,000 points.

James eclipsed the milestone Wednesday night against the Golden State Warriors when he made a short jumper with 2:45 left in the second quarter to give him 2,001 career points. He needed 18 points entering the game to be the 38th NBA player to reach the mark.

The previous youngest to score 20,000 points was Lakers star Kobe Bryant, who got there when he was 29 years, 122 days old. James was 28 years, 17 days on Wednesday.

In the first quarter, James also found Dwyane Wade slicing down the lane for his 5,000th career assist. He is the 13th player with 20,000 points and 5,000 assists.

詹姆士是NBA史上第38個拿到2萬分球員，而且在28歲17天就拿到，打破Kobe(Kobe Bryant)29歲122天的舊紀錄，成為史上最年輕2萬分球員，他說：「能達到這紀錄對我意義重大，代表我一直保持健康。」

詹姆士在NBA保有一堆「最年輕」紀錄，最佳新人獎、生涯第1個大3元、1千分、1萬分、明星賽MVP(Most Valuable Player，最有價值球員)的年紀，都是史上最年輕，若按照他生涯平均27.6分的速率，有望在2021年、36歲時超越賈霸(Kareem Abdul-Jabbar)的38387分，成為史上得分王。

不過詹姆士花了726場比賽累積2萬分，只在史上排第7名，史上最快拿到2萬分的是傳奇球星張伯倫(Wilt Chamberlain)，只花499場比賽。詹姆士昨也成為史上第13位同時累積2萬分、5千助攻的球員，他強調：「對比得分而言，拿到5000次助攻對我來說更重要，因為我從來沒有把自己當成一個得分型球員。」
