甜美傲人的MAKIYO選在2011年8月，推出久違的全新國語專輯｛夜電｝。近年多在電視上主持綜藝節目及拍連續劇的MAKIYO（原名：川島茉樹代）自2004年唱片《魔術代》睽違七年後回歸歌壇，高唱《夜電Girls Power》！這位中日混血台灣女藝人以性感、美麗、自信的女王形象重新出發，無論曲風與造型均充滿顛覆性，其最新國語專輯以她最愛的輕快舞曲風格為主。

今次MAKIYO從選曲以至拍攝MV都有親自參與，主打歌「Wake Up」是改編自韓國女歌手孫淡妃的作品，更找來5566帥哥許孟哲客串獻聲；另一主打為專輯中唯一的抒情歌曲「謝謝你愛我」，由MAKIYO好姊妹「小S」徐熙娣包辦詞曲創作。

素有「海盜王國」之名的台灣，MAKIYO專輯中的Only Girl直接翻唱美國流行歌手Rihanna(中譯：雷哈娜)主打歌，整個編曲跟歌詞一字不露大抄襲，畢竟是亞洲人的唱腔詮釋西洋歌還有很大的進步空間；台灣唱片工業迅速萎縮，音樂品質跟著墮落，比起日韓的音樂市場掌握度，台灣已經望塵莫，現在就讓學員們比較一下原唱與翻唱的差異。
