Hunger Games! Twilight!
Russell Brand hosted the 2012 MTV Movie Awards by shouting big blockbuster names and making fans scream. And, in fact, it was The Hunger Games, Twilight and Harry Potter who took home the big wins.

Emma Watson had to represent the entire Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 cast when she accepted the award for Best Cast.

The Hunger Games stars Josh Hutcherson and Elizabeth Banks were in attendance to accept awards for their film. Hutcherson won Best Male Performance and Banks won Best On-Screen Transformation. Jennifer Lawrence, however, had to accept her award for Best Female Performance by video.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner accepted the award for Movie of the Year for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 without Robert Pattinson by their side. "Thank you so much you guys," Stewart said. "This really means a lot."

— Best Kiss: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1.”

— Best Fight: Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson vs. Alexander Ludwig, “The Hunger Games.”

— Best On-Screen Dirtbag: Jennifer Aniston, “Horrible Bosses.”

— Best On-Screen Transformation: Elizabeth Banks, “The Hunger Games.”

— Best Gut-Wrenching Performance: Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper, “Bridesmaids.”

— MTV Trailblazer Award: Emma Stone.

— MTV Generation Award: Johnny Depp.

一向被視為「比奧斯卡輕鬆、好玩」的MTV電影獎昨天頒獎，「飢餓遊戲」勇奪最佳男女演員等4大獎是最大贏家，不過「暮光之城：破曉Ⅰ」僅入圍2項都獲獎，與「哈利波特：
死神的聖物Ⅱ」、「伴娘我最大」不相上下。

今年MTV電影大獎，一如預期「飢餓遊戲」、「暮光之城」呼聲高，前者得獎數是後者的兩倍、聲勢超前，但後者命中率百分百，顯示迷姐迷妹真的很死忠、猛灌票。

相較之下，來自英國的「哈利波特」雖顯得姐不夠疼、妹不夠愛，幾位主角合力搶下「最佳卡司」大獎，由「妙麗」艾瑪華森代表出席，她也與新作「壁花男孩」兩位男星一起將「最佳男演員」大獎頒給「飢餓遊戲」喬許哈契森，該片另又得到「最佳女演員」、「最佳打鬥」和「最佳銀幕變身」3座獎。

影后莎莉塞隆頒發「最佳打鬥」時，現場示範給了合演「普羅米修斯」的麥可法斯賓達幾腳，台下觀眾反應熱烈，為典禮製造了高潮。

「暮光之城：破曉Ⅰ」在女性支持下繼前3集後再登「年度最佳電影」寶座，顯然在她們眼中，影評人對此片的口誅筆伐都可以無視，而「最佳銀幕之吻」也一併拿下，可惜羅伯帕丁森沒現身領獎。曾在克莉絲汀史都華舊作「戰慄空間」飾演其母的影后茱蒂佛斯特頒發大獎，讓她情緒high了起來，一改外界的「冰公主」既定印象，笑得露出牙齒。

勇奪「MTV世代大獎」的強尼戴普上台獻唱，今年最當紅男星查寧塔圖則和要上映的脫衣舞男題材新片「Magic Mike」其他要角包括馬修麥康納等一同上台，卻只有喬曼加尼艾洛以消防員造型秀了點肌肉、跳了段舞，不過觀眾還是給予熱情掌聲。
