2017 Taipei Universiade Hosting Contract Signing Ceremony was held on March 25 at the Howard Civil Service International House. This is a memorable day for Taipei City. With the presence of President Ma Ying-Jeou, the Contract was signed by the authorities of Taipei City, Chinese Taipei University Sports Federation (CTUSF), and FISU.
There are several officials attending this ceremony, such as President of FISU, Mr. Claude-Louis Gallien, Secretary General of FISU, Mr. Eric Saintrond, President Ma Ying-Jeou, Mayor of Taipei, Hau Lung-Bin, Minister of Sports Affairs Council, Dr. Tai Hsia-Ling, President of CTUSF, Dr. Chen Kunning, Minister of Education, Chiang Wei-ling and Deputy Mayor of Taipei, Ting Tin-Yu.
Chinese Taipei has bee persevered for obtaining the opportunities for holding Summer Universiade for 5 times during past 14 years. Mayor Hau mentioned that since Taipei has held Deaflympics in 2009 and Taipei International Flora Exhibition in 2010, he believed that Taipei has the best equipment for holding such great Event. He has the confidence that with the efforts of the central and local government would lead the 2017 Taipei Universiade to a brilliant success.
2017年的世界大學運動會，將在台北市舉行，市府特別找來世界高球天后曾雅妮和今年高中籃球聯賽MVP的張宇涵，化身耶誕老人，拍廣告、當代言人，希望藉由曾雅妮的知名度，增加台北市的國際能見度，也讓2017年的世大運，能夠更熱鬧、更成功。
穿著自己設計的桃紅色POLO衫，世界高球天后曾雅妮和今年高中籃球聯賽MVP的張宇涵，一起為2017年台北市主辦的世界大學運動會代言、拍廣告。
曾雅妮和張宇涵，除了化身耶誕老人來宣傳，台北市政府也陸續她們合拍的世大運廣告，刊登在美國華爾街日報等國際媒體，讓世界看到台灣。
曾雅妮的代言，為2017年世大運的宣傳加分，但球迷們也很關心的是，妮妮手肘和肩膀的傷，是不是已經慢慢痊癒，雖然受到傷勢影響，今年曾雅妮的表現起伏不定，不過，臉上掛著招牌笑容的她，請球迷放心，她會好好養傷、調整心情，明年，大家就會看到她的成績大躍進。
